Answer:This is Boardman Dam over the Boardman River and the one lane bridge over the dam at the southern end of Cass Road, just before it reaches Keystone Road (upper right corner of picture), in Grand Traverse County. The most recent visible change to this area is the additional of traffic signals at either end of the one lane bridge and at the Cass Rd/Keystone Rd intersection. Bigger changes are probable in the next few years though -- the dam no longer generates power and could be removed, the road commission isn't likely to maintain the dam just for the sake of the road, the road could be widened or removed. If widened, opponents to the Hartman-Hammond bridge project see this an an alternative and adequate river crossing (coupled with widening Cass and Keystone Roads). Whatever the outcome, this picture will certainly look different in 5 or 10 years.
